It has now been 9 weeks since the weeds growing on the tilled beds were sprayed with glyphosate.

It is getting closer to the time when I will sow the beds with swedes. I am currently checking that my machinery is in good condition and that my swede seeds will germinate if sown correctly.

I still have some varieties of swede seeds to arrive, as I want to compare how a few different varieties of swedes grow in the same field.

I have begun a germination test on one of the varieties I intend to sow – this variety is Gowry. I will post the others as they arrive.
